Job Description

Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance is seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Insurance Client Relations Specialist to service and manage a book of commercial business. This role also supports our sales team by assisting in marketing and binding new accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide responsive service to clients, producers, and carriers via phone and email
• Accurately maintain client data and documentation in the agency management system
• Process policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in accordance with agency procedures
• Prepare essential client documents including certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and evidence of coverage
• Input transactions into the agency management system to generate client invoices
• Ensure policies, endorsements, and related documents are delivered to clients in a timely manner
• Market new and renewal business by preparing complete submissions for the marketing department
• Assist with audits, open claims monitoring, bonding, and binding
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills related to commercial insurance coverage and policy structure
• Ability to follow established agency procedures and maintain compliance
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and sound decision-making ability
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial lines insurance experience, preferably in an agency environment
• Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, forms, and rating practices
• Missouri Property & Casualty license preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); familiarity with agency management systems required

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
