Job Description

Job Title: Contracts Administrator I

Pay rate : $32.62 hourly

1st shift : 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location : Jacksonville, FL

Duration : 6 months temp to hire position

Job Details:

  • Maintain and demonstrate a working understanding of the U.S. Government Acquisition and Procurement environment, company contract functions, and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of commercial and international contracting methods, export regulations, and FAR/DFAR compliance .
  • Lead and support proposal activities, including solicitation analysis, strategy development, and proposal preparation.
  • Ensure proper review and approval of proposals and contractual documents, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
  • Research and recommend improvements to proposal and contract language.
  • Lead contract negotiations , collaborating with customers under general guidance.
  • Conduct contract processing activities , including accuracy in order entry, funding, scope changes, amendments, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and analyze various agreements such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and Strategic Alliances .
  • Support audit activities and contract closeout processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters and maintain required documentation.
  • Develop expertise in specialized contract areas, such as international contracting, joint ventures, and intellectual property .
  • Conduct cost/price analysis and assist with resolving business issues as needed.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with customers, suppliers, and company personnel
  • Proficiency in using computers to prepare reports and contractual documents
  • Ability to make sound decisions while complying with policies and regulations
  • Research and presentation skills for senior leadership engagement
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
