Atlas Roofing Shingles, Underlayments & Ventilation Division is seeking an Inventory and Forecasting Coordinator for our Meridian, MS facility.

Inventory and Forecasting Coordinator Job Duties & Responsibilities (include travel requirements)

• Collaborate with Forecasting, Procurement, Product Strategy & Innovation, and Business Development to align demand plans with margin, pricing, and supply goals.
• Support inventory strategies for high-volume opportunities and daily operations across all plant locations.
• Assist with large-scale inventory planning and allocation for resale products and vendor-managed items.
• Manage and place purchase orders for resale products and raw materials (e.g., Glass Mat) to prevent stockouts while adhering to supplier capacity constraints.
• Communicate monthly material requirements to vendors (e.g., JM) and plant buyers.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and logistics partners for direct shipment deliveries and order fulfillment.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing in PeopleSoft and ensure transparency across internal teams.
• Provide monthly pricing updates based on commodity trends and support cost controls.
• Generate and maintain master price lists and flux pricing models.
• Update all prices in the PeopleSoft system.
• Maintain a master pricing list accessible to all plants.
• Provide Flux pricing based on commodity pricing.
• Review and reconcile invoices for raw materials and coatings (e.g., Hunt, BWC, Gipson Energy).
• Ensure timely invoice processing and communication with Accounts Payable to maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy & Technical Services to investigate quality issues and recover costs from vendors.
• Assist in packaging evaluations, vendor transitions, and freight optimization initiatives.

Inventory and Forecasting Coordinator Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PeopleSoft, and Qlik Sense.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Inventory and Forecasting Coordinator Qualifications Preferred

Experience in the building materials or manufacturing industry.
