Records Clerk – AmLaw 100 Firm

Job Title: Records Clerk – AmLaw 100 Firm

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation: $25 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain client and firm records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support the firm’s digital transformation by handling scanning, digitization, and workflow creation.
• Perform quality control to ensure records are accurate and compliant with firm policies.
• Track and report on key metrics, KPIs, and volumes to support operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and other departments to ensure seamless records management.
• Work both independently and as part of a close-knit team in a professional office environment.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in records management (corporate or legal setting preferred).
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with scanning, digitization, and workflow creation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in reporting and metrics.
• Familiarity with records management software such as Legalkey, FileTrail, or iManage Records Manager (preferred).
