As the Site Manager of the D&D Immersive Quest, you’ll lead the front-of-house team and oversee daily operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. You’ll manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, and retail while working closely with the Sr. Operations Manager, tech team, and F&B partners to keep the adventure running smoothly. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to guide a large team in a fast-paced, live events environment.

Please note, this is a short-term contract opportunity of 4 months , located in Plano .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee staffing, including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and, when necessary, disciplinary action or dismissals.
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, and attendance tracking for all hourly staff
  • Lead day-to-day operations across ticketing, retail, and guest services, ensuring smooth show flow and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee the retail store, ensuring accurate inventory, merchandising, and sales performance to meet company standards and set KPI’s
  • Liaise with the Sr. Operations Manager to provide daily reports and escalate concerns quickly
  • Work closely with the tech team to identify and resolve operational or show-related issues quickly
  • Oversee F&B partners and coordinate operations to ensure smooth integration with guest flow
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift briefings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and operational policies and monitor guest-facing areas for cleanliness, readiness, and quality of experience
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly operational reports, including attendance, guest feedback, and incident reports
  • Serve as an escalation point for guest concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolutions while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Lead with a hands-on approach, able to step into any position as needed to support the team
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of management experience, preferably in live events, attractions, hospitality, or entertainment
  • Proven experience managing large teams in a dynamic, guest-facing environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle scheduling, payroll, and staff management
  • Experience with POS systems, retail operations, or ticketing systems
  • Mid-level computer skills, including reporting and scheduling software
  • Strong background in customer service with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and make sound decisions in real time
  • Professional, guest-focused attitude with excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TABC Seller/Server Certification (for alcohol service)
  • Food Handler or Food Protection Manager Certification (for safe food handling)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification from a recognized provider (e.g., American Red Cross, American Heart Association)
  • Previous experience in event operations, immersive entertainment, or attractions management
  • Multilingual abilities
