The Supply Chain Manager will lead and manage supply chain, procurement, receiving, shipping, and inventory operations across two sites. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically identify suppliers, develop and maintain relationships, and negotiate buys, focusing on commercial electronics, medical products, and physical hard medical goods.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies for improving supply chain efficiency.
  • Resolve issues such as delays in delivery, supply shortages, or accidents to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop coordinated plans for business growth.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure profitable contracts and favorable terms.
  • Ensure supply chain operations meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Key Traits/Experience:

  • Supply Chain Focused: Clear understanding and experience in strategic procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory management.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Experience in high mix/low volume manufacturing environments.
  • Hardware/Material Component Supply Chain: Strong preference for hardware/material component supply chain experience (though not required).
  • Experience Level: 5-8 years' experience in buyer or commodity manager roles, with potential experience in contract manufacturing settings.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with non-aerospace industries, including niche sourcing challenges and a limited supplier base.
  • ERP Systems: Experience working with ERP systems and ability to articulate system usage, demand tracking (ERP-generated vs. Excel-based planning).

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities. Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
